The "crème de la crème", this imported fresh cream is from Isigny-sur-Mer in Normandy, France. This crème fraiche is exclusively made of milk from the Bessin and Cotentin. It is produced by a long maturation period of between 16 to 18 hours. In this way, Isigny AOP Crème Fraîche develops its characteristic qualities in the fullness of time. It takes on a smooth, silky texture, ivory colour, and a multitude of complex aromas and flavour notes.
