These sardines are Sardina Pilchardus, the most valued species of sardines.
While found in various regions, those inhabiting our Rías Gallegas are superb. So much so that they have their own name: Xouba.
Thanks to the quality of these waters, they possess an extra touch of fat, making them more tender.
Due to their delicate size, they are carefully hand cleaned one by one, then toasted to achieve a texture that sets them apart.

Ingredients: sardines (fish), olive oil, salt. May contain traces of shellfish.
